Cache (2023)

The show „cache“ continues the earlier series „It’s never gonna be the same“ and deals with the topic of finiteness and the attempt to find a way of how to deal with what was lost.

This latest work shows six objects in the shape of gravestones where each piece stands for a close person which no longer exists. The wooden frames are covered with photographs from the last film roll of my first ever analog camera, dedicated as a farewell. A cache is a place of existential non-existence. So are the persons I lost.
